A closer look
Any tab can split. The agent on one side, and its browser, docs, diagrams, and code on the other. Web sessions are tabs too.
Inby plugs in the way each agent expects. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and opencode control their own tabs and reach you when they need an answer. No setup required.
Everything your agent does happens in your window, live. It can debug the app it’s building, walk you into the exact settings page of a provider’s dashboard, or show you an idea instead of describing it.
A markdown editor you share like a Google Doc, over a plain .md file in your repo. You both write at once, and the agent’s changes land only when you accept them.
Ask for the architecture and a diagram renders beside the terminal. Flows, sequences, trees, and more, drawn natively and redrawn when the file changes.
It knows the dev server under a tab, its port, and whether it just crashed, and restarts it properly. “Port already in use” becomes a button.
Answer from wherever you are. An agent’s question reaches you as a card in its tab and the same buttons on the Mac notification. Prompts from plain scripts get caught too.
Inby Agent is the same Claude Code or Codex you already use, given the window to conduct: tabs, servers, browser, docs. Say “chase these three bugs” and three tabs open, each in its own copy of the repo.
